Sally-Ann Konigkramer was 12 years old when her Mathematics teacher informed her mother that she would never have a “normal” job. Six years later she left South Africa with one month’s savings and the determination to fulfill her dreams. By her mid twenties Sally had her first command of 42m Superyacht SOFIA and through hard work and dedication her career continued to advance. Having the opportunity to work alongside true professionals allowed her to grow and become the courageous leader she always wanted to be. Sally sees the responsibility of being Captain of any vessel as a privilege and takes pride in working tirelessly to achieve the highest level of excellence. Improvement on every area is a personal daily objective, and she believes strongly on being a “hands-on” colleague—on of the keys to successfully manage and captain a vessel of any size. Sally has achieved the highest qualification within the yachting industry and through years of experience has become a captain of impeccable reputation, eager to work with yachts of great size, tonnage and prestige.
